Finished up two vitamin C serums in 2026. Can you guess what they are?
I can't believe it myself but I've finished Soul Apothecary's Glow Serum as well as Klued's Vitamin C 15% serum!
For the former, despite my 2021 review, I decided to repurchase it since I saw that the ingredient list did change to this.
No asthaxanthin, more vitamin C. No breakouts! 4 years later, I've come to appreciate the hydration it gives and long term benefit, but the C doesn't seem to be so strong. I'm going to check out a few more things but I'll probably repurchase again given I did finish a 50 ml bottle.
On the other hand, if you want a strong Vitamin C, go for Klued! It oxidized way too quickly and stained towels but the strength of this formula kept all zits away. It doesn't hydrate - in fact, my skin felt a bit drier after but the brightening is there in less than a week. I will probably repurchase but honestly I wish they gave a reassurance that stocks are super fresh. Mine was less than a month old but was it luck, would it be the same if I bought a bottle on sale?
I'mma think before I commit to a repurchase but acne prone skins or those who want immediate results go for the latter while drier, more mature skins go for the former.
