I've been meaning to review this but I ended up finishing COSRX's 6 Peptide Skin Booster before posting. Is it because it's boring or am I bored of skincare?
I bought this ages ago since I wanted a hydrator that does more and bought this as an impulse buy instead of their snail mucin. And honestly, it was not a bad purchase! I got it for around Php 800 (as a new product) but it goes for as low as Php 600 now. And it's a 150 ml bottle that lasts a long time (around 6 months for single layer use).
It's a very thin, lightweight product that is honestly not that good at hydrating deeply but as a peptide, I finished to see if it had some effect...
And at the end, it has made a subtle difference. It's such a tiny difference after one bottle that I wouldn't have picked up on it normally but on reflection, there really is!
I've found that my skin is not brighter or less acne prone or even more even... but it is actually a fair bit more resilient.
I'm conflicted. It really isn't magic but it does bring home that consistency is key. it's such a boring product but I do see its effects at the end of the line... but is it too much to want more? I'm not sure if I will buy this again or try to upgrade.
This definitely isn't for younger, healthier skins or those who need a bit more help but it's a good transition product for those in their earlier 30s or late 20s.
I'll give myself a bit more time to decide where my skin falls.
