Inflation as well as shrinkflation, is real. One glaring example that comes to mind is a sachet of powdered juice/tea that used to retail Php 5 to 8 to add to a liter of water now goes for Php 22-25 to add to 700 ml.
Which is why I decided to try Loyd's Cold Infusion Tea Bags in Mint, Lemon and Lime.
I found this on a trip to Daiso and at 12 bags for Php 100 (under 2 dollars), this was a real steal. The bag says to use with 200 ml of water but I've had no problems flavoring 700 - 1000 ml of water in my water bottle. I just drop and fill... and sometimes refill just a bit more. The mint isn't so strong at that dilution but there is a very refreshing and cooling citrus flavor.
The only downside is that it does come in this little triangle pouch.
You have to fish it out when you want to stop the steeping and given all we know about microplastics (and the bag does look synthetic) there IS a chance of it leeching in... can't win in this life, bug at least its not hot.
Anyway, I'm still debating with myself if I would repurchase since I do love the product: I love me my flavored water on the go but plastic (seems inescapable though). But for those who don't mind, I would recommend this.
