EOS Lip Balm

Do you still use EOS lip balms? They got some bad press a while back because of a possible allergic reaction. Still, someone gave me this cute pink one and I just couldn't help trying it.

Thankfully, I've not had an allergic reaction.
EOS or Evolution of Smooth lip balms used to be all the rage, long before the Kylie Lip Kits. This was the first year I've tried it though since I still had other lip balms to use. This pink EOS lip balm was in Strawberry Sorbet and it smelt quite fantastic. While it's not at all tasty, it's still a treat to put it on the lips. I use a lot of this because i like gliding it through my lips. However, I don't think it particularly stands out as a balm.

I find the inside really cute as well, like a mini egg. The newest thing for me is that you can coat your lips in a swipe without opening your mouth. But you can do it the normal way and use the egg to contour. I don't know what's gonna happen when it becomes flat though, I guess we'll see.

I guess I can see why people went crazy over this thing.

It has one big con for me - and that its too big to be a bag balm. This will be something you prop up on your vanity or desk for touch ups - not very bag friendly. The egg form is really cute though!

EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet Ingredients

The first three ingredients are olive oil, beeswax and cocconut oil. They aren't aren't in any way irritating for me and I have a feeling most people won't either.

The EOS lip balms are organic and are meant to be used within 24 months once opened. I don't know if I'll buy this for myself in the future.
