Suncare 2020

I seem to have misplaced my Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel this past month, so this picture isn't complete but this is what I've been using aside from that.

1. Belo Whitening Sunscreen - does the job well enough but I need to blend this in so I need a mirror to apply. Also do not use near the eye area.

2. Belo Body Shield SPF 60 - not quite beach level but really good for sunny days. It' expensive to use daily so this has been around for a while.

3. Biore UV Body Care Serum - Extra Moist - Really have been enjoying this as an everyday lotion (Even more than Nivea since its a good bit easier to spread). Do not use while out in the sun for long periods of time.

Sun 2017

I know this doesn't seem very relevant now since Summer has come and gone... but sun protection is always relevant, especially in tropical climes. I also know I'm awfully inconsistent, as usual, but I have been a good deal better at keeping myself protected.

This year, I have been using this 3 products to keep me safe from the sun.

Biore UV Bright Face Milk

Though the weather seems to be turning - rainy season is on its way - I'd like to say a little about my summer's unsung hero: Biore UV Bright Face Milk with SPF 50+ and PA+++. Mind you, this bottle is an older formulation - the newer one is supposed to have PA ++++ under the new rating system.

At first, I didn't much like it because of the distinct smell of alcohol when first sniffed and applied, but I gradually changed my mind. It doesn't sting, dries quickly and leaves a nice powdery matte finish that lasts all day. I don't quite remember how much I paid for it, but it was at a drugstore price -very cheap. I'd buy it or its ilk if I could since this bottle is now empty.

Goodbye summer!

Biore: Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I bought some pore strips for my brother a week ago for less than $4 (In the US) and tested it.

My brother washed his face. This is his nose before the strip and after cleansing.

I removed the strip from its container, twisted it around then placed it on my brother's face. You have to put it on (1)quickly on a (2) wet nose or else it won't work as well. That was my mistake.

This is his nose after, you can see some improvement. It would be better if his nose was wetter and I was quicker though.

This is the nose strip; you can see that it works. However, it pulled more hair than heads. I should correct that next try.
