Peripera Airy Ink Velvet

My first lip ink! I think this has been around for a while, but I've been using Peripera Airy Ink Velvet in #05 Elf Light Rose for less than a year.

#05 is a very pretty, rose pink that glides on semi-opaque with one swipe. No need to re-dip the doe-foot applicator as you can cover both upper and lower lips without it. It applies as a dusky pink that turns into a paler stain.

#05 applied thinly, in two layers, applied  thickly

I don't use it everyday because it stings on application, but I continue to use it because it looks good and wears nicely through out the day, lasting around 6-8 hours as a stain, though nowhere near its original pigmentation.

However, do not use it if planning to eat or  drink soon! Aside from the fact that it transfers, this product has a soapy-flower scent that you can taste while the product hasn't been absorbed/evaporated into a stain. Yes, even 30 minutes after. It tastes SO bad. The scent is a flowery rose but the taste is soap!

Tip: Minimize transfer by blotting a few minutes after to get the stain. Alternatively, swipe on the side of the bottle before application.

#05 as fresh stain
I've also found that you can do different stains depends on how much you use/layer.

Yays:
Flattering shade
Pigmented
Smooth
Long lasting
Layer-able (by itself and with other shades)
Affordable

Nays:
Stings on application
Bad Taste!
Smooth lips required

Transfers in liquid form, no transfer as a stain.

This product is VERY unforgiving for unexfoliated lips, so prep well beforehand. I wouldn't buy this myself (this was a gift), but I will try to use it up. You can buy this online from around P350 and up or at Club Clio stores. Remove with an oil or lip and eye make-up remover because once set, it is a real stain.
