Marumiya Ajidouraku

Are you kitchen-illiterate? Do you want cheap, cheap food?

If you answer yes to both questions, you are probably part of the population that exists on canned goods and instant noodles.

But did you know that you have another option?

All you need is rice - available via rice cooker, convenience store and cafeteria - and Marumiya's Ajidouraku: a  rice topping for the busy or lazy person!

I've forgotten how much this costs, but I believe its around P95 (~$2) for a 30 mg pack. Each serving size is around 2g. However, each pack can serve 8-15 servings, depending on how big an eater you are.

All you have to do is sprinkle at least a teaspoon over (preferrably hot) rice.  Each serving has only 9.2 Cals and 74 mg of salt, which is far better than some other options out there.

Now, I wouldn't recommend doing this daily, as you are supposed to eat a balanced diet. However, for those who need a convenient food source, it's nice to know that there is another choice out there.
